A place to feel like vacation... without ever leaving home.
From the very beginnin, the vision for this project was simple: create a space that feels like a resort for the parents and a world of endless summer for the kids. A place to relax, gather, and make memories for years to come.
To bring warmth and old-world charm, we selected walnut travertine throught the space and designed a pergola that will slowly disappear beneath cascading wisteria over time- because gardens should become more beautiful with age.
One of my personal philosophies is that no space is complete without the sound of water, so we incorporated three spillways flowing from the jumping wall- creating movement, atmosphere, and a little extra magic for the kids.
To define the firepit area, we softened the hardscape with a meadow of ornamental grasses and flowers, creating separation while keeping the space feeling natural and inviting.
The outdoor kitchen was finished with honed Taj Mahal quartz countertops to tie together the warm, layred tones and elevate everyday gathering.
Inside the home, the view out was aking for an intentional focal point- an art moment. The marble table paired with the structural vase creates exaclty that.
And perhaps my favorite detail... the hanging swings. Easily the best seats in the house.
I can't wait to watch this garden grow up alnside this family.
